Powerlifting is discomfort. If it wasn't it would be called cross fit.

I know it can easier be said than done, but getting a regular, or the same person to wrap your knees all the time is a major element, especially if you have an important meet coming up. I know people that insist on wrapping their own knees and they do well like that, but nothing's worse than having a total stranger wrap you before your opener for example. You'll limp up to the platform not knowing what to expect. I've been there and it wasn't fun!

You don't know pain until you crank down on a pair of Mark Bell's record breaker wraps! Those things are fuckin brutal, but the 80 lbs on my squat is definitely worth the discomfort lol

I prefer Overkill Strength Equipment knee wraps. Those are the tightest knee wraps I have ever used and they take a bit getting use to, but worth it when you start knocking out PRs all day.
