It was embarrassing and heartbreaking when my wife caught me closet drinking. Deep down I knew it was wrong but I couldn't stop. Grateful that my wife doesn't drink otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. It's crazy how life can kick your ass. The people who are there to pick you up or have been there are the blessings in life. So I try to be a blessing to all I come across. As we all should. I'm still no saint but I know I'm better than I was. I've never been to AA so this is kinda like it for me. One day at a time. Thank you for listening.

      Congrats!

I agree with other posters, it gets easier with time.

Yes, pour yourself into the gym and your family

I am 18 months sober and almost lost everything when I hit rock bottom. It was Celebrate Recovery that helped me reset and put my family life back on order. Can't say enough about it.

There will always be temptations and times of struggle, but time, hope and a vision makes yous stronger

      All the best to you

Congrats on the six months. I am struggling with it. I am only about 3 weeks. Reading your posts and the other’s comments are encouraging. Thanks for posting up.
