If its a suspension this is normal to separate bro, it needs to be shaken before use. If its made properly it will work as well as a solution, but var especially will not hold in solution at doses above 20mg/ml or so. Suspensions are generally easier to produce and can use the same "recipe" for each compound and generally can be made at higher dosages. Solutions require a bit more chemistry and usually different chems and ratios for each compound, and still many will not dissolve at very high concentrations.

So did you have the bottle sitting upside down? Every liquid var I've had the var is to heavy and sits on the bottom until I shade well. It doesn't go to the top.

depends on the suspending agents, what I use most compounds will float on top or right in the middle of, it should have some density so that it will suspend particles when its shaken, if its too light then everything sinks as soon as its shaken
