UPPER QUAD LUMP W/PAIN
Good afternoon brothers! Ive been cruising on test only since my last cycle (about 300mgs/wk) I had some killer test that got lost when I moved about 8 months ago, just found it last week. Its a multi use vial. Still had about 7 out of 10mls in it so I decided to pin it. Anyway I nicked a small capillary and got a small bruise spot about the size of a quarter. I usually have zero issues pinning and very seldom get a bruise or have any discomfort. I pinned my upper thigh about where my front pant pocket would be. As this week progressed, I noticed its kind of lumpy now, cant really see it, but it can be felt. There's no redness but it is sore as hell! Feels like my first pin! The pain has increased slowly but no fever & doesn't look infected. I really don't want to go to the ER for it. Has anyone had this? thoughts? advice? Thanks. - IRISH

Is the pain subsiding, I had a lumpy tennis ball in my quad before, I was crippled bad. But it healed. You could take antibiotics just to be safe.

Spunds like pip bro. You really need only worry when you experience redness and warm to the touch. Of course im not a doctor and without seeing it its difficult to really advise but id give it a day or so. Did you pin the side of your upper quad? Or more toward the front? I dont really understand where the pant pocket would translate...

The front. Up kinda high. I have alot of scar tissue in there too so that may be trapping fluid. No redness, not warm to the touch. Im gonna see what happens I guess. I know alot of guys that get lumps but its never really been an issue for me. Whenever something unusual happens I get concerned. I figured with all the experience here there would be others who have maybe experienced this more frequently. I trust my brothers more than docs in these matters.

Well that could be a contributing factor there. When I pin quads I always pin the upper portion of the side of the quad without issue. The scar tissue definitely adds to lumping and pip. Try massaging as much as that hurts and obviously is not something anyone would want to do. But It certainly helps

Seems to be going down today and less pain than yesterday. Thank you guys! Glad I didn't slam my immune system with anti-biotics for nothing!
