COC
so I just donated to the analytical lab testing, which EVERYONE should do btw, and wanted to run something by all members. since the testing is so new, I kinda feel like the Code of Conduct may be hurting some members. for instance I just saw a thread where someone got a TD right around the time P*****o got banned. the member expressed concern, understandably, as to the quality of the rest of that sponsors gear. in doing so, he's breaking the forum rules by discussing a sponsor no longer on board, which I completely understand. but seeing as to how quickly results come in from testing that causes sponsor bans, brothers may be left out in the cold waiting for an order from a sponsor who days before was supposedly a "stand up" lab. now I believe all members should donate to the testing for future peace of mind, but is there anything that can be done, within reason, to help brothers out in this situation or similarly when a sponsor "goes private" that won't break the COC? just throwing it out there. also a quick shout out to Kubes and DWBO for setting the testing up and dealing with my lack-of-bitcoin-knowledge ass!!

Sensible, thoughtful post. I wondered why, when a sponsor sells stuff to members and then they no longer sponsor, the member still has the gear and is not allowed to discuss it. Sure, if the sponsor advertised two years ago it’s less relevant but if I buy gear from a former board sponsor that has recently “gone private” (is the term I think you use here) then why not still be able to discuss? Not promote. Just discuss.
Not my board so I understand the reasoning somewhat, but it seems a bit misdirected.
I would have donated to the testing forum long ago but I seem to remember something about minimum post counts. It’s an awesome idea and I hope many members take advantage of it.

Yup I agree completely with you on this one. I was one of those people a few months ago when two sponsors abruptly left after having a 50 percent sale. I still have tons of the gear and its all questionable. But it also taught me a valuable lesson and it'll never happen again.

Obviously our COC is there for a reason. This place has been around for a long long time. There’s a reason why it’s the top forum out there... it’s the safest forum out there... there has been extensive measures taken to protect the users and sponsors, beyond what we even understand or know.. A lot of investment of time, money and resources goes into operating a board like this. This isn’t just some created in paint kind of website... that being said, rules are rules and they need to be adhered to in order to keep the order. They are in existence for a reason. Doesn’t matter if someone agrees with them or not. They were created for a reason when they were created... Follow the laws of the land we must, if we wish to dwell within the land.
This being said, it’s up to everyone of us to do our own homework. If you place an order with a sponsor, but you didn’t do your work and read through the reviews for the good, the bad and the ugly, this is on you... if you did do the work, then there wouldn’t even need to be the matter of posing the question to the board.... you’d be ordering already knowing the pro’s and cons... accepting the outcome of either or, prior to ordering...
If you are questionable about the product you have, send a sample off to be tested. For peace of mind if anything else.

GOING PRIVATE !!!!
This is like your wife saying its ok to see other people but is faithful to you ?
Olympia was a good sponsor when he was here . He announced he was going private . Next thing I know I am getting PMs from members that placed orders and sent bitcoins . I helped those people by communicating with Olympia . He stated he decided to close shop and no longer looks at his emails . Not sure how customers had his Bitcoin account info ??
MeanGreens was a popular GH supplier that left the BrotherhoodofPain in good standings . He went private and scammed over $50,000 from members on other boards . His GH tested so well he only took bulk orders . Taking 3 weeks to receive orders members did not know for over a month they were being scammed .
Wicked labs was a popular sponsor on BOP and left in good standings . He went private and only past customers could order from him because he was so exclusive and popular . Scammed countless people for a extended time .
Victory was a great sponsor with the lowest prices I have ever seen when he had sales . He left stating he was going private and only past customers could order from him . A short time after that I had several inquires asking what happened to him . Customers had less than expected blood work results .
The Code of Conduct serves many purposes .
Sponsors that did poorly on the BrotherhoodofPain seem to thrive on other boards .
We do not discuss other boards or non sponsors .
Its not fair to sponsors paying rent to have sponsors that left get kudos .
IF A SPONSOR IS A SCAMMER IT BELONGS IN SCAMMER SECTION . That is all the information past sponsors will get from BOP .
If you spent a few hours , yes a few hours you will see there are more sponsors that scammed then good thru the years .
Ganabol blamed the BrotherhoodofPain for his security breach when a hacker guessed his password . He used the same password for all his board log ins and email services . Yet he is popular sponsor on another board . Some boards will rent space to anyone that can pay fee's .
Landmark Chem is the largest Raws supplier on another board but scammed several people here and still emails people non stop ?
The BrotherhoodofPain provides a service to its members by not editing or removing posts and threads to favor sponsors .
The Code of Conduct has to be understood and agreed to or do not use this board .
I would never order from a sponsor that is going private because there is no accountability .
Since all this Private sponsor drama has taken place staff changed its policy to a minimum of 6 months commitment to be a sponsor .
The BrotherhoodofPain turns away sponsors every week to keep our reputation the best in this community/sport/hobby/business .
We lose money to keep everyone safe as greed is not our motivation .

If you did a half hour worth of research you could donate easily. Once set up I can make payments and move money in under 5 minutes. You could easily learn it if you just put a little effort into it. This board even has a section for it.
