      Injured on Cycle

      Quick question.....

SO, I got injured and it looks like I'm gonna be out of the iron game for a few weeks. Torn L5 S1 disc in my lower back....total nightmare and more pain than I've ever felt before.

I'm on the tail end of my second cycle....Sustanon, NPP, and Anavar. I've got about a month left on a long 18 week cycle. Just writing this up to see if it makes sense to you guys....

I'm thinking I should continue my cycle as normal, even though I'm not going to be training until the doc gives me the go-ahead. I could drop it and not waste the gear, but I'm thinking that coming off and dealing with PCT while also dealing with an injury would spiral me down into losing a lot of gains. Maybe if I stay on, I can at least support some of the gains I've made, and by the time I'm coming off in a month or so, I'll likely be back in the gym, which should help me get through PCT.

Good thinking? Or should I just cut it, not waste the gear, and try to get my body to get back into some sort of equilibrium asap.

      Any thoughts?

I wish. I might be able to do some very light arm work and upper body in a week or so, and I should be able to start some light cardio. Legs and anything involving core stability, lower back, hips is out.

I have pretty much the same injury, I try to stick with traction type movements, dips, pull-ups, pat pulldown front back wide close, eg flat bench usually doesn't bother me to much, incline kills, most shoulder movements are out, squats any compression type excercises from top or bottom, my advice is try light, if it bothers you light, you ain't going heavy, I can tell when I pick up 135 on the bench whether I'm moving to traction back or going heavy chest. Whatever u do don't get discouraged, I know it's hard, but keep your head up, but I dropped to hrt three weeks after injury
The only true failure is quitting, any other attempt is practice!

Sorry to hear about your injury. Damn injuries always getting in the way of progress. 14 weeks is still a decent cycle,if your still lifting without pain,I would finish but if you want to give it time to heal and rest i would stop. Those lumbar disks are always the first to go,lol

Brother I'm not even standing up without pain! No gym for a week so far, chiropractor every day this week. Completely debilitating.

Dropped the anavar...I was getting cramps from it, so thought it couldn't be helping. Still using the test and npp as normal, but may drop the npp out, and just keep the test going to try and maintain. Don't wanna go into pct without being able to go to the gym.

I think you're thinking the right way, keep the test, even at just 200mg EW it will help, not only with holding on to some gains but also your sense of well being. Trying to run PCT while injured and inactive would be a nightmare.
