Tren calorie dilemma
Hey brothers, im just about to start my cycle but my main concern apart from the tren sides are calories. I'm sitting around 15% atm and wanting to get close to 10% so should i be in a small, large calorie deficit or sit at maintenance as i keep reading conflicting stories regarding calories with tren. My cycle is as follows i have my AI and PCT all sorted.
250mg prop p/w
400mg tren ace p/w
80mg var weeks 2-8
500iu HCG p/w
25mg t3 1-8

There is no set magic number for anything. there is only rough outlines. your wanting to lose 5% BF. start with whatever you wish. if it was me i would start a few hundred below maintenance and see how you go that week. if you're not losing at the rate you hoped for take some more cals. if your losing to quickly and feel weak and flat add some back in. it's about finding what works for you and it's a balancing act. what works for one may not work for you so you have to use the rough guides and adjust from there. dont complicate things and remember rome wasn't built in a day. play with your carbs, play with your cal's till you find that sweet spot and keep adjusting as you come down to keep it going. that's what i do and has always served me well. i hope this helps in some way. im sure others will have some good info for you as well. good luck.

Deficit. You have to listen to your body as far as how much of a deficit you need to get results. It looks like your cycle is pretty short. A higher tren / lower test cycle (which you have) is great during preps and the tren will KILL my appetite in that scenario so its perfect.
I typically run a higher dose of Tren, which pretty much holds my muscle despite the deficit.

T3 is measured in MCG and Your body makes 25mcg on its own so taking that amount won't do anything for you except shut your thyroid off. Try starting off t 50mcg/day. And be prepared to be really hot and uncomfortable during this cycle (especially after simple carbs). I'm just finishing the same one up now and had AMAZING results. I ate at a small calorie deficit and went from 13-10% bf and didn't loose a pound.

I agree with AP. Tren isn't a miracle drug, it won't just melt 5% bf off of you. You should absolutely adjust your calories to reach your goals.

Do you feel its important to not feel flat while dieting? If your running 400mg of tren and a base dose of test (125) would running a deficit of 50% be considered risky regarding muscle wastage? I just want your opinion.. For me, I always thought given the use of aas and then especially, and the concept of psmf diets resulting in minimal amounts of muscle loss due to high pro and weight training, the risk would be non-exsistent. However I do tend to find myself feeling flat 3rd to 4th day in or so... I always thought feeling flat is just glycogen depletion.. So when u feel flat, that is probably the best time to cut training back to just weights at low intensity and put low intensity cardio walks in to burn fat and do a majority of work through the diet...

Feeling flat can be from glycogen but also carbs. there is a lot of variables here with what you're asking/saying. what are you dieting for?? if you're dieting for a show being flat before the show doesn't really matter as long as you hit it and look good on stage. if you're just dieting to look good being flat isn't the best look. also are you saying you would start with a deficit of 50% of cals off the jump?? if so i think that's silly. your fat burning will slow down and when it does where are you going to go?? also do you really believe you can diet with 50% of your cals and not lose muscle?? i think your going to find you will give up muscle even with ASS use. keto diets and i have tried them and they make me look flat and i don't really like the look, im not a big fan of keto. i also find i can get just as good a fat loss without keto which give mes more choices of food. either or as i said its a trial and error thing that you have to workout for your self to find your sweet spot where you keep losing fat while not giving up muscle ect ect and this can only be done by trying different ways and methods. please forgive me if i didn't understand anything you wrote correctly.

Yea makes sense!
I refer to this about setting the deficit, I always thought its a lot easier dieting for a lesser amount of time:
Setting the Deficit - Small, Moderate or Large : BodyRecomposition
As for the 50% deficit, i run it for 5 days with a 2 day refeed at maintenance.. You think you would still lose muscle on this?
Im also currently pre contest dieting.. Sitting around 9% so not sure how hard I can get away with cutting cals and not looking like crap (9 weeks out or so)... I know what you mean about hating the keto look!!! Not a fan too lol..
