Awesome post, that's a pro explanation +1
Great read and appreciate the info...Just had bloods done, and was hoping to get back on test again. However, I have some issues that need to be addressed first. For the last couple of years, I’ve had some liver issues. High iron, bilirubin and high shbg.(been off test for 4 months) I Was put on test cyp by my doctor, had low free test, I’m guessing from liver problems. I started at 100mg/week and ended at 400mg/week. Even on 400mg/week, my total test was only 1060 and free was at 24, (test was done 1 week after last injection). I took the test for about 5 months, started breaking out and was sick of injections so I stopped. I had blood tests for my liver done while on trt and had no issues. My last blood tests came back with very high iron and high bilirubin, high shbg. Low free test again, but total was 565 I think. All liver enzymes and proteins were normal. Ive has ultrasounds done as well, on my liver, and surrounding organs and all came back normal as well. No hepatitis. No autoimmune disorder. Just curious if anyone has heard of this before. Also, no hemochromatosis, although I do have one variant for that. ??? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
How high was your iron, and billirubin? Doctors aren't always right. Either way you should get your iron levels lower by having them take out blood. That's standard treatment.I would take nac, milk thistle, tudca and whatever else you can do help with bilirubin Don't drink alcohol. Don't skimp on the tudca. If you have some gall bladder probs it can help.
