taking a baby aspirin 30 min before injection to help avoid hitting a blood vessel?
Was wondering if anyone on this forum has heard of taking a baby aspirin 30 min before injection to help avoid hitting a blood vessel? I read it on another forum. At the same time , one of my other customers also asked me that question .
aspirin ? It is often used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation.

I have never heard this although if your worried about bleeding aspirin would make it worse. I don't think the 30 minute time frame really serves much purpose, when I donate blood they will not except my blood if I have taken aspirin in the last 48 hours.

I've always heard asprin thins your blood, which like bdad said would be worse for bleeding. But for inflammation or soreness it might help a little.

As stated above I don't see what the benefit would be, but it would increase bleeding significantly.
I know some people that can't take aspirin without getting nose bleeds from it. That's how much it thins the blood.

Its all about knowing your injection sites and what areas posses more of a pronounced vessel/arteries and nerves with the mapping system.. The VG is a great spot, its my go to...painless with no issues!
Its all about knowing the proper techniques/injection protocols...And your bodies anatomy...
Aspirin will do NOTHING! Education will yield the best result....
