      History and Recovery

      Brothers,

I initially sent this as a pm, but felt it wise to make this a community question. It was written the night before surgery:

I've been a member of BOP for very long time, but a member of our community for about 12 years now. I find myself in a very unfamiliar place and would like your input. History:

I dont have many posts on this site as I learned as a rookie from another site that you read research is key. I read and research a shit load here. Over my 12 years my cycles have been:

      Sus only - 12 Weeks
      TestE only - 12 Weeks
      TestE w/EQ - 15 Weeks
      TestE w/EQ - 15 Weeks
TestE, EQ, Winny - 12 Weeks
      TestE, EQ, Winny -12 Weeks
      TestE w/EQ - 15 Weeks

My last cycle was spring 2012. I'm currently about to have back surgery and looking to recover faster. I'm torn between TestE w/Var or going the hgh route. I'm 39 and have a lot of bumps and bruises from combat outside of my back issue (torn ACL, torn labrum, etc). If I go hgh, which is more pricey, I was looking to run at most 4iu per day for the rest of the calendar year. With the Test/var, maybe 12 weeks at most. Can you assist? I'd appreciate the knowledge drop.

      Bros, your input please.

      Test only !
During recovery AA17 orals will not help in any way shape or form .
Test helps with protein syntheses .
If I was advantageous about speeding up recovery I add BPC 157 2mg/week along with GH .
Even TB500 without loading will be synergetic @ 5mg/week with the other 2 peptides .
Anti-oxidants and Omega/fish oils would be much better choice than Var .
I would have pro-biotics dosed daily before surgery .

I'm sorry to hear about surgery but traditionally pain management seems to over ride what ever plans I have laid out .
After I achieve pain control I tend to find comfort in food as I throw in the towel .
I use this board as a focus point knowing there's support here and I wanna be gym junkie and not a Jennie Craig groupie .
Good luck and I hope for a successful repair .

About to have back surgery? I would be more concentrated on recovery & rehab than what anabolics to take. Returning to soon from surgery can set you back if not careful. I would get fully healed first, then think about adding substances to get your strength back. Best of luck with your operation.

@DWBO - That's pretty good advice and mirrors what my other research found. Thanks. I'll post my decisions in my log for the community.

@toppjimie - Thanks for the well wishes. The surgery was a success (on Tuesday), and they have me up and walking (minimum 1 mile per day). My focus is on recovery and rehab, which I know with the back is a very delicate situation. Just like the docs have a plan for my recovery, I wanted one of my own as well, to include diet, etc. I know everything is broken down in phases, and I plan to ready for each one. I started a log and will post the good and the bad there. I plan to be honest and upfront, even screw ups made on my part. Hopefully, it'll help a bro facing the same issue.

GREAT TO HEAR THAT BROTHER! Great advice from the guys above!

I would look into Test only and HGH. Studies have shown that HGH promotes healing and I feel it would be very beneficial. There are alot of sponsors here that offer it at great prices.

Get well soon my friend and looking forward to following along on your journey.
