Steroids nd employment drug screening

Just curious as to what everyone knows in regards to drug screenings at places of employment. I know my place does random urine test where they do a quick panel test on site and then package it up and send it to a lab for a second test. Can they detect steroids through a standard test? I was always under the impression that they only test for coke,thc, meth heroin, etc.... can anyone give some more input into this?

Correct they not testing for steriods.. just coke, weed, etc

They do NOT test for steroids.

Testing for steroids is VERY expensive. I agree - they're looking for narcotics - weed, coke heroin etc.

If your taking adipex (phen) it will test positive

They are testing for recreational drugs or would be way too expensive to test every employee for steroids

Already answered but I'll chime in. Most companies do a 3 panel or 5 panel drug screen. Coke, amphetamine, thc, opiates and i can't think of the other one right off the top of my head. You're good. I've taken var/winny and my hgh and test. Score a screening and was good

Tanks everyone who replied. I was figuring they only test for recreational drugs but I had others try and tell me different. I know where to find my answer and that was here from BOP. THANKS.

I'm a manger for a pretty big company and when we test for hiring and do randoms ,just like most have said here, we only test for recreational drugs.
