Pre Cycle Blood Work Questions
Hey guys,
So I just went and got my pre-cycle blood work done in preparation for my first cycle. I had just recently gotten over a cold so I figure that's why my WBC counts are a little high, however I noticed that my LH level is high and my Testosterone level of 357 is barely above the lower reference interval of 348. I figured this is somewhat strange considering I am a lean and seemingly healthy 24 year old. Just wanted to see what some of you guys thought about this as this is my first time getting blood work done.

Did you get estrogen results on that panel?

Yes, my Estradiol level was 8.1, which was on the lower end but within the reference intervals of 7.6 - 42.6.
My LH level was 8.9 which was above the range of 1.7 - 8.6
My FSH level was 1.8, which is also on the lower end but within the reference interval of 1.5 - 12.4

Hmmm...your test is pretty low for a 24 yr old. You definitely have a great advantage in getting these levels beforehand bro. That alone puts you ahead of the game. Don't know what you plan to run as your first cycle, but I would NOT do any AI's until you notice estrogen symptoms. Your e is already low and IMHO it would be a mistake to go all in on the ancillaries...especially if you are running a test only 1st cycle.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised by the results actually because I don't show any of the usual symptoms of Low T, and my friends are usually pretty jealous of me for always being able to put on muscle fairly quickly/easily so I was expecting to be in the mid to upper level.
For my first cycle I am just going to run Test E 500 mg/week. I have Aromasin for my AI that I was planning on running E3D/EOD depending on estrogen symptoms, and Nolva and Clomid for PCT. However, I'll take your advice and just hold off on the Aromasin until I start seeing any symptoms of high E.
I am also planning on getting LC-MS hormone blood tests done around the 5th or 6th week of my cycle so I can get a good idea of how everything is affecting me there and so I can see the actual Test levels rather than just >1500 as weell as just the normal hormone panel test after my PCT to see how well I'm recovering.
Thanks a lot for the help Electromass, even with reading up on everything I still am not 100% on any of this so I'm super thankful for any advice you vets have.

It's no problem at all bro. Glad to see you younger guys doing shit correctly. I was trying to find an article I read awhile back about finding your personal tolerance level of aas and haven't found it yet. It basically lays out the same protocol of starting at a cruise dose to see your bodies reaction, then bumping up the dose till you find that you are getting side effects. That way you really are tuned in with your own biological make up.
Keep us posted on how things are going bro.

Definitely planning on trying to do everything by the books! But if you happen to find that article I'd love to read through it, any info is an interesting read for me!
Once I get started here I'll most likely start keeping a log of how my cycle goes with pics, stats, diet and everything. I'm currently in medical school so I'm just waiting to get through this wave of exams before I get started into things.
