Assuming your question refers to modafinil, there is no research on this of which I am aware. It is a narcolepsy drug (orexin agonist) and mild dopamine agonist that promotes wakefullness, alertness, focus and general well being without the "speedy" effects of amphetamines. Military has used for overnight radar operators and pilots, e.g. since the 50s. In my understanding, it is largely benign in the absense of specific conditions (high blood pressure, e.g.) or other medications/drugs. As older folk these days ten to be loaded up on prescription meds, I would check for contraindication on drugs.com (or similar site) and possibly consider a test drive.

In my understanding, it is primarilly a narcolepsy drug. i.e. The FDA has approved it for narcolepsy. IIRC, other uses, like shift affective disorder and ADD are "off label."

You can expect, at a starter dose of 50mg, to have to pay attention to notice and understand the effect (different from anything else), to be more focused than usual, to have to exercise mindful control over your focus, to be awake in bed, to really feel it kick in with that first cup of morning cofee, to fuck for considerably longer that expected, and subsequently to be awake in bed at night... I'll tell you I've used it - 1 with a script and twice without. Its something you cant take everyday bc you'll build a tolerance for it and then its just a waste. I have used Flints (please dont PM him right now about it, he's getting his shop back together and the last thing he needs is dozens of ppl PMing him about something he cant give us right now - sorry I hope I'm not being a bitch by saying that) But I'm saying it because I've already PMd about it lol Anyway, it worked really well for me because I have horrible brain fog - it makes you feel like your brain had the absolute best recharge of sleep. I am prescribed ******** XR 20mg.
I am not currently taking them, but definitely filling my script.
Once I am done with my dbol portion of this blast, I will use ******** only if needed.
Anyway, they may make you feel like you are smarter, or think you are smarter...
but you aren't smarter...
