Using anabolics as pre workouts is an interesting concepts. Alot of people report varying outcomes form 0 effect to extreme pumps and increased strength gains.
Buy let's consider what happens when you follow a typical cycle protocol.
500mg of test
50 mg anadrol
Maybe some deca or other compound...
After 1 week the anadrol will have you seeing increased strength and once the entire cocktail starts working you will see increased and sustained strength gains throughout the entire cycle. Especially when you keep increasing calories.
So when you are mid cycle and need that extra boost on gym day does an anabolic even help? Like I said..for some guys they report that it does help . I for one never experienced this except for when I used test suspension. It was purely an aggression sort of thing. I'm sure you would have felt increased aggression with the anadrol as well but at that dose the side effects over shadowed the aggression.
Now a days for pre workout what I realize I really need is a boost of energy and focus. And it's not just a one day one time event either. If I'm dragging ass or trying to break through a plateau it's gonna be a week or 2 of working hard and digging deep!
I usually go from 5mg eod of Cialis to taking it everyday.. and take some ephedrine or extra coffee or add in the infamous clenbuteral. Along with this I increase carbs and like to eat extra banana s for the potassium.
It looks like this.
5 to 10 mg of Cialis from PSL
Either ephedrine or clen (not both !)
200 to 400 mg Caffeine
(I used to add in test suspension too but don't anymore because I'm in my forties and d ont want to overdue it.)
Forget about those expensive pre workouts they sell. Not worth it when you have the above concoction to yield you the focus and energy you need.
After a week or 2 I reduce the Cialis back to eod...discontinue the clen and decrease the caffeine and most important I take a few days off from the gym and when I come back I de-load.
This is obviously what works for me and everyone may need to tweak things differently for themselves. But I learned to use these items to my advantage by listening to others who do the same.
The biggest take away is that anything that is pre workout doesn't work forever so don't use it everyday. Use it when you need it and only IF you truly need it...
Just another tool in the tool box.

I ran 200mgs this past summer and made a thread about it, I did fine, but could have used 150 the entire time and got the same results.. liver toxicity is over rated..theres even a study about a young Asian girl in treatment that revived for several years and it wasnt until many many years later did they see development of tumors on her liver..
just listen to your body, drink plenty of fluids and take liver supports!
