Use a real address, and your real name. Been doing it for years with zero problems. Including international.
I highly suggest not listening to this. Just because you've been lucky doesn't mean you should throw someone else under the bus.

Another thing, I’ve been getting international for years and my mail carrier knows it...so he just sticks it in my mailbox, no problem. He knows it’s me, and he knows I sometimes get international packages....I don’t have to sign for it.

I have also been told that using a different name alerts the post office as a possible contraband issue but yes I absolutely agree that it doesn’t do anything to protect you and confuses the post office as to if the address is correct

Just because you’re a newbie and paranoid doesn’t mean you know what you are talking about!
Those of you who act suspicious are going to be looked at as suspicious.
And I’ll give me experienced advice to who I choose friend. So take that shit somewhere else!

Even if it's a different name, where I live it gets delivered, and they don't question it. I also know a couple people that work at my pay office. They just move things where it says. A different name can be a safety net for yourself. If anything is suspicious, don't open or accept it. If you're paying with anything that has no trace to you, can't be held on you.

Quote from my friend on another forum,
"I watched my friend get arrested in his apartment for ordering international. Don't believe any of that shit."
Better safe than sorry.

I kind got into this scene through GEARPRO and they told me the same things . So I alwYs I have a come to my house in my name but sometimes I’ll just miss spell my last name or something but it still looks like the name to my address everything has served me well so far so I just follow the advice of the board sponsors I figure they’re here to keep business rolling so protecting us and helping us do things right would only be in their own best interest. If we were getting busted that would get out and the board would probably not survive

I’ve had to sign for an international package a few times only because my regular carrier was out on vacation or something. These postal employees are 9 to 5 er’s like you and me. They want to do their shift and go home to their families just like we do. They’re not fuckin super sleuth tryin to break the next international smuggling investigation.
I always go in like a boss, get my package, and I leave like a boss! Just be personable and friendly. The more you act normal the better.
