swelling after pinning
I am at the end of my cycle and pinned on Thursday night in my upper arm. I noticed a little bit of swelling a little bit behind where I pinned and it is tender. I have not had any pip from the gear and want to know how I will know if there is an infection and what I do if so?
Thanks

Is it warm? If it’s warm it crystallized inside and you probably pinned way to fast. So it doesn’t want to disperse through the blood or hopefully you aspirated and didn’t hit a vein. I’ve had that happen pinning 3mls. Push it in in 15 seconds and than it’s warm to the touch and kind of swollen. Take some Advil or ibuprofen to see if it goes down. Rule of thumb after that 20-30 seconds for each ml. Seems to keep me true.

If it’s an infection it’ll straight start to look like one. Infected.

To get a proper infection you need to be coarse. I mean it's not just not pinning properly, you need to pin bad, very bad or you're using real shit.
To the OP, if it was an infection you wouldn't be writing here asking if it was an infection.

If it was no better in 5 days I would be going to the doctor, but like the guys are saying if it were a infection by now you would know for sure.

I wouldn't panic... especially if this lump happened right after you injected (within 24 hours) it's probably a hematoma from you hitting a vein. Just because it's warm doesn't mean infection. It just means blood flow. It happens just keep a mental note and don't pin there anymore. It will be sore for a week or two and the lump will slowly go down over the next week or two. This is why I tell people don't pin anywhere in your upper body 2 weeks out.
An infection big enough to make a lump doesn't happen over night. If it was a lump from an infection it would be more than sore and hurt like a bitch. If it's an infection the pain will get worse. Also don't play with it or massage it. Extreme irritation can cause a hematoma to get infected.

OP, littlefrank and PJ034 are giving you solid advice. No need to panic. It's inflammed due to irritation and bruising. It will pass.
If there was a problem with the gear you would have known a long time ago, not the last pin of your cycle.
