I see what wanderer is asking to which my answer is no you can't stay on on a fixed dose. You must either take a break or add compounds. 500mg will only get you so far before you are done growing.

Basically the idea of a cycle is to create a growth window.
At the start you have a default cns, clean receptors and normal or low glycogen storages. By the end of the growth window your cns, receptors, and glycogen are loaded down.

You must either tame a break and reset or decrease dosages to continue growing at a reasonable rate in the next window/cycle/blast.

A steady flow of test becomes useless for continued growth after so long. We have to reset and prepare our bodies for growth.

500mg of test used as a bridge for a guy 50 lbs over his natural potential is just something he has to do to maintain in some cases. Its not a cruise. It is a bridge. Its the bare minimal requirement to maintain what is unnaturally on his body. Guys running a bridge like that are on a fuck ton of gear on blast.

A cruise is a trt dose which caps out at 250mg per week and most don't need even 200mg.

Staying on for periods beyond 12-16 weeks is simply wasting time if you are cycling. Personally i think 8 weeks with short esters is sufficient on blast and cruise.

As soon as my sponsor log is done I will be employing Rinnie Rowlands slingshot cycling/diet/training program.

8weeks on two weeks off until october. Diet and training and compound volume drop for two weeks (deload) and then you blast again for 8 weeks (reload).
I will do this for 2 blasts and then clean out to trt doses for a couple months.

I was set to do three blasts but wonderful free gear changed my plans. I will probably tie my slingshot start date to two weeks after my sponsor log.

Anyway this is the game... Growth windows.

500mg/week is literally 6-7 times normal male test levels. You are not cruising, you are blasting.

Yes, some people run high test all year when not doing multi-compound blasts, but many of these people are pro level bodybuilders, or idiots who're doing it because they think it'll be better than a TRT dose.

Anybody get Tren cough from a particular sponsor. How do I dose liquid orals properly? Asking a sponsor if they were going to add superdrol anytime soon. And many more ???? I promise you he was a young child and this would be his first cycle. I know how a child acts I have 3 boys of my own.
