Post comp Cycle
HI All,
I am considering my first cycle.
Purpose is to put on some mass in off season next year after competing in my first BB natty comp in october. seeking up to 10lbs gain.
I am 44yo 80kg @10% dexa fat mass, 170cm
I am not seeking any crazy mass gains but want to retain as much as i can and as a natty I am not too far off my upper limit. Don't think I can gain more than a couple of pounds over the next year.
I understand that my hormones will be all over the place after prepping for my show an might need some time for it all to settle before pinning.
I am considering a basic test-e or test-c cycle over 10-12 weeks with minimal dose followed by pct.
Any suggestions or recommendations?

You got it brother 400-500mg of test a week for 12 weeks is a great first cycle

Make sure have some sort of anti estrogen on hand just in case.
In the end it comes down to diet if your gains are lean or wet. Gl man!

Basic is good. No need to go overboard.
Test 350/wk for 12 weeks will be more than enough for your first cycle. Make sure to have your diet on point for your goals and train hard to get the most out of cycle.

You are competing natural. Why do you want to cycle after the competition?

I am competing natural now, looking to gain mass in areas of weakness. If i compete down the track i don't intend on staying with the natty feds. Hope that makes sense.

One thing I always like to remind first timers is to have your PCT in order before you start your cycle. I've seen guys get in sticky situations when their test runs out and their RC provider didn't deliver on time or they didn't have the cash for their PCT products.
Another +1 for having an anti-e on hand. You don't want to crash your e2, though, as it is needed to sensitize androgen receptors among other things such as helping your dick work. On my first cycle, I found that just a corner of a pharma grade arimidex tablet a week was enough to keep high e2 symptoms away. The best way to monitor this is through bloodwork, but on a shorter first time cycle you probably won't have midcycle bloods to gauge your anti-e needs.
Oh, and my vote is on test C. The difference is minimal when taking more, but for a first cycle I like the extra day or two of half-life. It seems to make me feel more "level" if dosing once weekly (can be common for cruising or first cycles).

Thanks for the tips. Won't start a cycle before having all the PCT and precautions in place. I wasn't aware that Test c has a slightly longer half life. Would this help with pnning once a week or still 2 is recommended to keep T more level?
