And by buttock I hope you mean ventral glute and not ass cheek. It will usually feel like pressure as your injecting it. Then afterwords could swell, ache,be sore, tender to the touch/raised. An infection would typically have pus, come to a head, be warmer to the touch,and usually much more painful. How does it feel when you flex the area.
