      Vial Issues

So I was curious do many of you load with an 18 g? I went to 2 different pharmacies and those were the only tips available. So they seem to be popular the issue is I had some gear from a sponsor not on here and the 18g was destroying the top of the vial after so many loads. It got so bad that particles were ending up in the gear eventually, was that just the sponsor being cheap and using garbage rubber stoppers or do you guys experience this with all gear when using 18g? I’ve always used 20-22g when I was loading. I can always just order from a sponsor on here I was just trying to get them quickly at the pharmacy.

I use an 18 gauge to draw from vials that I get from the pharmacy. That being said, I’ve found that I have to use a 21 or 22 from private sources. Not always though. Each company uses different products and it’s a crap shoot really. Just use a higher gauge (22-25g) so you do not get leakage and store in a stable area. Sterility is VITAL.

Gonin at a steep 30° angle. It will help with "coring' the stopper.

I draw with 21g and jab with 25g. I can definitely notice some damage to the stopper after a while (if I am cruising I will be using the same for a while and you can see the stopper degrade). Use 21s will last a lot longer than 18s. When I am blasting I dont notice much damage with 21s and can draw plenty fast enough.

The carrier oil might be the big culprit with this. I always draw with 18ga pins but on a normal 10 ml vial have never had issues. I don't like gear with EO either, it is very hard on rubber.

If it is really a problem just order smaller pins online.

×2... you have to move around as well. Dont keep jabbing the same spot. When I was green I ended up with rubber stopper floating in my vial. So either use smaller pins, or go in at an angle and make sure you keep moving around. Also you dont have to insert the pin in the little circle or bullseye on the rubber stopper, you can go outside that circle. I always give my vials a hard rub down with alcohol swab and push down on the stopper to close up any hole left from the pin..them 18g pins can leave that rubber stopper gaping and oil can run out or can become potentially contaminated. I moved on to smaller pins, just takes a little longer to draw. Which can be fixed by heating the vials beforehand in hot water. But make sure you put them in a bag so no water comes in contact with vial.
**dont boil water, just let the tap water get as hot as it can get and use that. I dont heat my vials up anymore, but I do put my syringe in a ziplock when its loaded and let it sit for a minute or two before I poke myself

Ya 18g is a monster bro even 20g is I would def go smaller. Also if source uses migyol 840 as carrier oil it can eat at the rubber stopper which has happened to me before and thought there were floaters but was particles from rubber stopper but they have special rubber stoppers now for that reason and i know a couple sources that switched to them and havent had issiues since.

You could buy a vial adapter. It only pierces the stopper once and stays in the vial. You draw subsequent injections using a leur-lock syringe.
