Hey brothers, I need your help. Passed through a vein or infection?

I did a side delt injection Saturday night and I have only used this site maybe once or twice before. (Usually go for glutes and quads. Anyway the pip was pretty bad and I admit was a little shaky during the injection. Yesterday morning my shoulder hurt so bad I had trouble lifting my arm due to my shoulder hurting so much. The site is red. I watched a video from Dave Crossland explaining that this can happen when passing through a vein and blood pools in the surrounding area. He said to stick a needle in and aspirate, if blood comes out your good, if puss comes out to to a doctor. The swelling has gone down slightly but the red area has increased. I pinned the spot and aspirated and it was all blood no puss. Maybe I'm being paranoid but wanted to ask you guys if I'm good to go, or should I see a doctor? Thanks guys.

Are you running s fever, is the site warm to the touch if so then keep a close eye on it cause if it’s getting worse then it could be infection. If it’s getting better then you will be ok in 3-4 days. Your putting oil into your muscle and your body doesn’t like it

If the site is getting worse each day go see a doctor. But for the time being I would take a heat pack and leave it on as much as possible and when your on the go use icy hot.

You should be just fine as long as it’s not getting worse

Give it a couple more days.. up be fine.. shit happens to me once in a while. Take Ibuprofen

How much oil did you pin? 1/2cc 1cc?

1.5cc. Most I have ever pinned in this spot is 1cc. Probably too much oil for this area for me. I woke up this morning and it's still painful, but has not gotten any worse. Thank you to all who have responded.
