He looks at my A1c, so the elevated glucose up until 6-8 weeks ahead of time would have raised a flag. Anyway, I was in to see him for a diamox Rx for some high altitude adventures and was talking about hunger/cravings I get at times, which could easily be the npp--who knows. Anyway, he was going off about metformin and the anti-aging and longevity benefits it can have. He said some folks have a hard time with stomach upset, but that the time-release version is well tolerated. Said he is even taking it, and since I have a family history of adult onset of diabetes, he'd be happy to see me try it for a spell and see how I responded. Since I knew my blood glucose was higher on hgh, figured I would try it and see.

I've taken it now for about 6-weeks. I am finishing up a run with NPP/DHB this week, so had bloods drawn Friday. I can't compare apples to apples since my last bloods I was still taking HGH, but will be able to compare with previous results. From feeling standpoint, honestly I can't really tell anything at all. I did not get any kind of stomach or digestive issues whatsoever, but haven't noticed anything else either.
Thanks for the response. Most importantly though, how was the npp/dhb combo?
