      Seasoned brothers question

What’s up brothers I posted this on the TRT forum but would also like the opinions of those with anabolic experience.

I had all my work up and all my labs were good and i started at 320 test level. The doctor stated for 43years old it would be good to start TRT. I am being low dosed right now at 100MG a week test C and I go to the for the shots weekly with a copay I am on week 4.

On week 6 I get new results on my blood work and testosterone then wont be tested for 3 months. That is when I intend to add probably some anavar/Winny and utilize one of the testosterone sources from our site. “ heard good things about private labs” suggestions are welcomed! When i signed up for this TRT clinic you sign a disclosure that you wont add anablolic etc.

Im not sure if its just BS but I do like the idea of being checked regularly and making sure that everything is going well in my body when it comes to labs so don’t want to screw that relationship up.

Guess what I’m asking the experienced users is what is your experience with complimenting your TRT along with short additions like anavar/dbol etc, then getting checked without raising concerns at the doctors office. And if not on TRT how do you go about doing your cycles and managing your bloodwork and addressing them.

I do eat well and have the motivation so that discipline is there but I’m dragging ass in the gym. In my younger years when i was in the military I used irresponsibly cause i did not do any of this under a doctors care, then when i was injured during wartime so I was sidelined for a while.

But I do know what is like to just toss up weight like nothing and not sure if just the TRT will cut it especially at conservative doses. I’m not looking to get massive at this point but definitely stronger, leaner, more defined.

I appreciate any feedback from you brothers who have experience with this and can advise me.
      Be well!

I am not exactly a “seasoned” vet but I have been on trt for a little over three years. In my opinion, the best advice I am can give you is that 6 weeks is most likely not long enough to get you dialed in to your specific trt protocol. It is going to take you and your doctor some time(if it is a decent doctor) to dial it in as best as possible for you. If you are not feeling better and your numbers are low, the doc may increase your dose. If you start to have problems with your PSA, hemocrit, etc. then the doc would most likely have a conversation with you in regards about maybe lowering or a different protocol.

Basically, the point is that I don’t think three months is long enough. Once you have your dosage, correct amount of AI(if any are needed) and your blood is stable at those dosages for a decent amount of time then I would look into adding additional compounds. TRT is usually for life so there will be plenty of time to “experiment” with other compounds while on your specific trt protocol. Your numbers would be too skewed to perfect your specific protocol by adding other compounds in and specifically tailoring it to your needs.

Hmmm, I see a TRT doc. I'm with you and like being monitored and checked regularly. Makes me feel better/safer. I'm 43 as well. My doc knows exactly what i do though. Every compound I put into my body and dosage I run by him first. I pay out of pocket so I can literally get labs as often as needed. When I'm on blast I get them more often. I don't know if I'm just in a unique situation or if you can find a doc that you can just be honest with thats what I'd advise.

Thanks, i appreciate the closing statement regarding patience. I guess I’m eager to jump in and start adding compounds along with my TRT and get to work.
The clinic seems cool but there method is to have me come in weekly for my shots and monitor me at 6 weeks, then 3 months, then i imagine 6 etc until they get me where i need to be.

      thank you for your feedback

Your TRT doc sounds cool. At least right now the impression I got was like a by the book doc. I initialed a document stating I would not add anabolics but not sure if that was a cover your ass thing.
But I am a weekly paying customer so maybe once I get dialed in and they get to know me better maybe I could explore they’re thoughts on adding compounds on to my TRT.

      Thanks for your input
