Blood test - help with CBC
Anyone have any experience with attached CBC numbers. It seems RDW and platelet count may be indicating some anemia ?

Do you donate blood? If so when’s the last time you donated?

Yes I do. January 7th was last time. I go pretty regular as soon I’m allowed.

Hmmm that wasn’t too long ago. What compounds are you currently running?
Also have you ever had this issue arise before?

Ok I will give you my thoughts. Your hemoglobin is a touch low. This is what is indicating anemia. Anemia simple means not enough red blood cells. Hemoglobin is the part of the red cell that carries the oxygen. The RDW or red cell distribution width measures how variable the sizes of your red cells are. In your case you have a large variety in your red cell sizes which means a lot of old and a lot of new red cells (big and small). That probably means that your body is replacing red cells that are being lost. Lost how is the question. Maybe a small bleed somewhere in your GI tract. I'm also wondering if your platelets are high because your body is trying to stop the bleed (that is what platelets do is clot at the source of a bleed). As far as your calcium I'm not sure. I know it's barely elevated but keep an eye on it. Really high calcium is very bad and often leads us to look for cancer. Please don't panic because your numbers are not anywhere near that but I'm just saying to watch them. I would start out by getting an occult stool test to see if there is some blood hiding in your stool. I'd your stool black? Also what are you taking at the moment other than aas

Lol I see there were a few posts made while I was typing. I see that you donated blood. That explains where the blood went. Your body doesn't know that you lost blood on purpose so that's why it's ramping up platelets. Stop donating blood and repeat your labs
