Abs everyday (besides rest days)?
Just wondering people’s opinion on abs everyday.
Currently im on a Test E-only cycle (500mg/wk)

I hate doing abs but 16 weeks out I do them every morning. A simple routinebut is tightens things up and enhances separation.
I don’t have showy type abs so maybe I’m not one to be listened to.

Imo that'll thicken your waist

I'm not sure how you guys think it makes your was bigger. I do 200 crunches a day and if anything, it tightens up your abs more so. The only time I don't do crunches is my rest days or unless the workout from the other day really tore them up. I do mainly do a combination of leg raises and crunches. I found out that if you don't keep your inner core strengthened then you can have some serious issues with your back and other areas. Body has to be balanced.

I’ve had stretches where I’ve done them just about everyday except for rest days. My waist never got bigger if anything it helped the separation. You definitely can do them frequently but you won’t know how your body Is going to respond until you give it a go for yourself.

The last two responses are why I didn’t bother responding to the “thick/bigger waist” comments. Spot on.
Using weights or doing weighted ab/oblique exercises will DEFINITELY thicken your waist. So will getting old.

I do them every morning upon waking. Nothing weighted or crazy, single leg raises, sissor kicks, alternating knees to elbows, then planks and typically finish with few burpees just to get the old body moving a little bit.

If I target abs everyday the muscles get larger making my waste larger. U don't need to target abs everyday to have a strong core.
One of the best ways for me to keep a strong is not relying on a weight belt. I rely on proper form & a strong core from not relying on a weight belt.
+ Every1 is different.
I actually learned that from Dorian Yates in 1993
