      Gear Crashes on Airplane

Hey guys - every time I take gear on an airplane it crashes. Dosnt matter if it is checked or carry-on, it always crashes. They ship from overseas all the time, so it cant be the pressure of the cabin. Any thoughts why it crashed all the time when I fly?

I don't have a lot of personal experience taking it on an airplane.

But there are several ways to bounce it back.
My new favorite is putting it right on the cable box for about 10 minutes warms it up perfectly and the cable box gets pretty hot
You can put it in a ziplock bag and just let it rest in hot water
You can put it over your heater vent.

Um not sure what you mean about crashing but I posted on here last year about how my gear vials leaked due to the air pressure changes . And people laughed at me. Anyway since then if I have to travel with geal in my prescription vials i lock them in an airtight plastic case so the pressure doesnt force the liquid out the vials. I keep the labels easy to read for tsa to see its prescription. And not take it. Look for a plastic container with a rubber gasket that locks tight.

thanks - the gear gets cloudy and you can see crystals. I run hot blow dryer for 20 min and run under hot water for 30 min and it dosnt come back.

I also have it leak through the tops when under pressure. Good idea on the air tight container.

That's just awful man every time you bring gear on an airplane you make the thing crash.. you need to stop being selfish leave your gear at home stop putting these travelers at risk... Lol
On a serious note,it's just because of the extreme temperature change that's all..this happens a lot with transatlantic flights and everything.. I just warm up water in a saucer pan almost to the boiling point and then I remove it from the flame, then I let the vial sit upright inside the water for about 10 or 15 minutes and I will swirl It occasionally...this brings it back almost immediately every time..
