First off try to get your protein from whole foods. GROCERIES are by far the most expensive. When I'm bulking I'll spend at least $150 a week on just myself.
You guys need to shop around for protein:
fitnessdealnews.com
Dpsnutrition
Muscleandstrength
Ebay has deals
The list goes on. On allstarhealth they have buy 1 get 1 iso sensation 93 by ultimate nutrition. 10lbs of iso for $61ish. The stuff is real clean and taste pretty good. Cookies n cream is probably the best tasting, but I use the chocolate kn my cream of rice

I've been told on here I need 500 grams lol I'm real finicky about what I drink. I hate the drinks that you mix and shake up lol Plus My wife drinks some of the protein drinks also so I'm buying for two.
I love the iso pure bottles
The BLUE or RED ones

Whole Foods is a dream store!! The poke and sushi and Paninis! I Love that place and Whey Iso is key for me! It mixes so well, no lactose, filled with glutamine and bcaas. Sensation cookies and cream and Isopure Peanut butter chocolate cures my sugar urges!

If you are buying supplements to grow muscle as opposed to trying to be healthy then AS a much better bargain. If health is a priority then then supplements easily beat out AS as more bang for the buck.

I honestly walk into any vitamin shop or supp store and see if they have protein on the sale rack. As long as the first ingredients is whey protein iso or concentrate and the ratio of protein/fat/carbs is good I will take it. To me this is the best way to go about it if you arent to turned off from random flavors. I just got 10 lbs of strawberry flavored whey protein for $30. Second best is obviously online. If you are really hurting for cash and need to save always go to craigslist or apps like letgo and offer up and just type in protein and see what comes up. Back in my college days I use to get amazing deals from guys who think they are going to be pros and spending hundreds of dollars on new gear and supps just to realize how much work it takes to train and quit and sell everything

Thats pretty much where I'm at rn as well. I used to spend an ridiculous amounts on every damn supplement u cam imagine.....and I saw very little if any difference at all.
These days I stick to fish oil and a performance multi vit.
All the other crap is just hocus pocus and the placebo effect imo.
Yeah things like glutamine, creatine etc have research behind it but if ur diet is on point ur already getting the aminos needed.
I personally get much more bang for my buck saving that money and spending it on gh and an occasional month of igf, humalog.
But that's just me

IGF-1 is so underrated! Probably because of cost but I personally love it!
