You may be able to get it online, but you really should be under the care of a physician. BP meds can screw with your kidneys and they work differently in your body. Some affect the kidneys and others affect the heart directly. Taking certain vitamins can also jack you up while being on bp meds as well. For instance, you can't take potassium while being on a blockers (lisinipril). I don't think insurance companies will be notified if you walk into the doctor's office and tell them that you are on TRT meds.. I don't see why not, unless some sort of emergency arises from using gear and it's written up in their reports which will then go to the insurance agency to pay for a procedure or something. BP meds are not to be taken lightly. Trust me on that one.

Telmisartan is the best BP meds for bodybuilders. Look it up. It protects against many things that we struggle with ie left ventricular hypertrophy, insulin resistance,

Agreed, I don't take any medication lightly and I would only take these BP meds as needed and no other time. I am sure others will share their experiences with the various BP drugs so that we can make informed decisions and when to come clean with the doc.

Amlodipine/norvasc 5 mg pd..mines not super high...but I'm honest with my doctor so help me keep my BP in check as well as my cholesterol with atorvastatin... says it reduces risk of stroke and Heart Attack by up to 50%.... no noticeable side effects whatsoever... high blood pressure is a serious issue for kidneys it'll ruin them...

It is all fiction.. I don't condone any of it in real life. I am not a professional or medical doctor just a figment of your imagination

Exactly. I think a lot of people die early in life just because they don't monitor their blood pressure, or just don't know. As body builders, we should take all of this serious. We put compounds into our bodies and I think that most of us are concerned with side effects and possible issues in the future, especially as we get old. Some are just to focused on what they look like in the mirror and how they feel. Just because guys feel good, doesn't mean that they're not wrecking their insides as well. Seems like we have a good community here who is focused on everything

Perhaps there is a more underlying cause to the blood pressure issues that should be addressed instead of resorting to a "pill". Nowadays everyone wants a pill for everything.
