      Bio-Identical Test BS or Not?

So my BS meter has been hitting 11 as I've been reading about so called bio-identical testosterone. This is all associated with "holistic" health and crazed notions of dreamy romance devoid of science by "applying natural goodness to improve testosterone levels".

Being open minded, what does the actual evidence and science say?

Forgetting about inane arguments like the products arent even naturally produced but rather they are typically manufactured, does this "treatment"in any way have any measurable impact on actual testosterone levels, total, free etcetc?

It certainly isnt bio-identical testosterone as the subtsances themselves are not testosterone, so at best, all they could do is somehow be metabolised into more test in the body. Does is actually do this or not?

Assuming this is a “supplement” you are talking about.

There are things you can eat that will boost testosterone. In fact, lots of things you can eat that have various effects on various things in our bodies. This is a fact. But now let’s consider that even if this supplement is “bio-identical” or even actual testosterone. I could give you a 100 gram lolly of testosterone and you could lick and suck it all day. You might even get some testosterone into your system. The oral path just doesn’t really work this way.
Now consider that the lolly was equal to 50(!) vials of 200mg testosterone. Think there might be a better way than eating the hormone?

This is a very crude and far from scientific explanation but here is what I think about these supplements:
Dudes walk around saying they’re natural but take supplements that supposedly boost testosterone. Isn’t THAT also hormonal manipulation/augmentation?
      MK-677 definitely increases HGH levels.
I prefer to cut straight to it. To boost my HGH I stick the real shit right into my arm. Testosterone? I inject it straight into my muscle. With both of these I can be pretty certain how much increase in hormones I have in my body. Eating “booster supplements”? Fucking crap shoot, with the emphasis on crap.

If only use of these products made muscles increase at a linear rate to the supplement compan’s bank accounts.

The name itself is a fraud to begin with. It’s not test and if it was it wouldn’t make sense. There is no bio-identical marker that differentiates from person to person or if there is it wouldn’t be any better that what we already know and have.
