I pinned my quads 100+ times, no problem. Then I pinned a single shot and my leg swelled up twice the size and I could barely walk. Then I saw the Rx Muscle video about never pinning quads.
I had a similar thing happen in my glute last year, two weeks out so I had to withdraw from contest.

You can get a bad pinning any time but if it’s in your quad, there are brutal ramifications.

Only time I've had unbearable pain from pip was from quad injections . Was doing too much I was a newb and pinned 1cc of test 400 ! with a 23g ! First off there are way more nerves in your quad . I would always start at 1/2 cc to see how your body is gonna react on the quad . Also if your lean enough use slin pins it's way nicer for quads . I use 1cc 29g 1/2" . Oh and go very slow injecting !

First pin ever in the quad? Lol that’s pretty brave. Don’t worry about it. It’s not serious. But if you really want to know what will help the most in my opinion is TB500 and plenty of water.

Great advice from the last few posts. Don’t pin quads. I spent 10 months trying to pin quads correctly. Told myself to not be such a puss. Then I learned to pin delts & glutes. I pin EOD with no problems. Rotating within the 4 spots. Even if I get pip, I have a fresh spot to pin, while the other heals up.
Also, I agree, pin with less and pin more often. So if you get gear that your body doesn’t agree with the oil, you have less pip to deal with.
I will disagree with the smaller shorter needles. I bought the 25gauge needles thinking it would be better. For me, It really doesn’t. I use 21 gauge 1.5in needles and I like knowing the gear went deep in the muscle. Anything less and I have to leave the needle in for a good 10 seconds before I pull out so nothing spills.
      Cheers!

I purchased (400) cc's - (4) 100cc bottles of grapeseed oil from them to use in cutting some Test Enan 300 I was using at the time that was giving me absolutely crushing pain, massive inflammation and edema causing both of my quads to swell up to the size of giant watermelons, BA Flu for about 24 hours after every injection (101 - 102 fever for about 24 hours)....after cutting this Test Enan 300 1:1 with their sterile grapeseed oil the pain went from an (8) or a (9) to about a (1) or (2), in other words, very tolerable and barely noticeable. No more BA Flu either.

You are making a mistake, IMO, throwing perfectly good gear away. Simply buy some of their sterile oil and cut it Big Joe.

This company is top notch, they supply many of the best sources, by the way, on the internet with stuff like BA, BB, carrier oils, beakers, flasks and other brewing supplies. They have been around for a very long time and are a great company.
Great info. Thanks, exactly what I’ve been looking for to dilute my high concentrations.

Did you have to sterilize or filter the carrier oils before using or did you just draw and pin?

No, everything is already double filtered with 2 Whatmans and is already sterile, so just flip the flip top cap off the bottle of sterile oil and pin away.

Everyone is saying to avoid quads and that will automatically solve every problem. No, avoiding quads will not automatically solve every problem. Painful gear is painful gear. I have pinned helluva painful gear in both my VG and glutes over the many years I have been pinning and have gotten injections that were just as painful and crippling in my VG and Glutes as in my Quads. Glute injections so painful I could not even sit down on that buttcheek for 3 weeks!! I had to sit down on the good buttcheek and completely avoid one buttcheek. BA flu with 102 degree fever from injections in my Glutes and VG? You bet, have had that several times as well.

The answer to all of your problems is not to simply avoid quads and shoot VG or glutes. That "might" work if the gear is only minimally painful. But if the gear is significantly painful from a high solute concentration - ie high-dosed gear - (ie T350, T400, T500, Primobolon 200, NPP 200, Test Cyp300, etc etc etc...) or a higher than usual BA concentration, then it doesn't matter whether you pin in your quads, VG or glutes, it's just gonna be freakin' painful regardless of where you pin. The guys in this thread might be giving you a false sense of hope that avoiding quads is the key to your problems. Not necessarily. Painful gear is painful gear.

In that case, you have (3) options: 1) Throw the gear out and start over by buying new gear from a different source, but this might not work because the new gear might be just as painful or even more painful than the gear you just threw out. Therefore Option #1 sucks IMO. DO not just throw painful gear out. 2) Use some other compound known to be extremely painless (ie Deca, EQ) to cut the painful gear with 3) Buy some sterile grapeseed, cottonseed or MCT oil from the links i provided earlier. Option #3 is my favorite option and the option I recommend.

Lol! Not pinning quads WILL solve the quad pip problem though. 100%

Myconcern with drawing sterile oil from a multi use vial is IF the oil has any BA ornot. No BA means the oil will not be bacteriostatic. The first piercing of the stopper will inoculate it with pathogens. Sort of nit picking but still a fact.

Ok so purchased Test e from a sponser here on BOP.

Took my first pin in my right quad, 1cc on Wednesday evening, woke up and and pretty sore, couldn't really put full weight on my leg and felt like i had the flu ( might just be coincidental thou), any way i gave it a few days and now on Saturday my right leg felt ok so i pinned my left quad in the morning, again 1cc and now in the afternoon i can barely put any weight on that leg and feeling shitty again. Is this normal? It's my first cycle and so far not so good. Should i invest in a wheel chair?

Any tips or tricks would be great
First of all brother, welcome to the darkside. Looks like you decided to make a big boy decision and venture out into the "other" side of bodybuilding. I'm surprised there wasn't too many brothers chiming in on the fact that this is your first cycle. So as you probably know this is a life long decision and hopefully you did lots of research before jumping in, so I'm not going to get into details about proper pinning procedures and sanitary practices because you should already know about that. I will tell you this though; everything you are experiencing is COMPLETELY normal for your first go at this. And it don't matter when you switch to glutes you will still be sore as well being that it is virgin muscle as another member said. My first cycle a couple of pins I could barely walk because I switched legs and each of them were sore. It just happens in the beginning and will go away bro. And the flu systems are called "test flu". Its the body's response to a dramatic influx of hormones. I highly doubt your gear is contaminated and these symptoms are all that of legit gear for a new time user. Now does all this suck? Yes it does but it is temporary and will go away, but hey check it out these are all parts of the game and I warn new guys about this. The good comes with the bad. Now the good: If you eat good and train right expect to put on around 20lbs on your first test cycle. So yeah will the pain initially suck, yeah but just wait till people start commenting on how you put on noticeable size, something you never would have been able to do naturally in such a short time frame. In fact, as a natural; it would be fair to say someone did well if they put on 20 lbs of lean mass in their entire life. Anyways, enough of my rant, just know that this is a lifelong commitment and there are going to be some things that you will have to deal with if this is what you want to do. So to summarize, I do not think there is anything wrong with your gear, I think this is just virgin muscle and "test flu" you are experiencing, but if you notice pain, redness, or swelling/inflamation around the injection sites than you should be a bit more concerned as it could be an infection. Again tho, that is could be, it also could be a reaction to caririer oils and a handful of other things so try not to freak out about things as long as you are sanitary. Just do your research and feel free to ask any questions on here bro. Tons of vets on the board that will be more than happy to help you. Enjoy the ride my man!
