What is the concentration of your test? high test count = pip in a major way. I can deal with test 300 , but 400, no way. So painful. Also, just as a tip, never inject into your quads until the rest of your normal locations like glute or delts are good with it. I'm mostly a delt guy, but if the gear is painful, no way in hell am I putting that near my legs.
I never did research on pinning quads back in the day and hit dead center half way down and wow, never again! Thought my quad was going to break that pin in half with the twitching and I almost passed out. I watched a video on youtube, an aussie fellow btw, and he was the best at showing exactly where to pin on your glute and your quad. I found if I stretched my thumb from my hip, end of middle finger off to the right is the best spot. He said, sit down on the toilet or chair, extend leg, flex your quad, find the peak - and relax slowly and watch where the peak falls off to the right (right leg example). ping 1/2 inch to the right of that location. I even shave that area just because i'm so paranoid about a leg infection. I only pin quads when I'm running prop and running out of areas. Delts are the best, you can find so many areas all over the place that are painless, however, if you inject painful gear into the delt area, you'll see a rash form that runs all the way down to the bottom of your bicep and can really be painful on delts and biceps. You'll get a low grade fever, probably what your experiencing with your quads. I've used that same gear and pinned my other delt, no problem. I wonder if I hit a vein and the oil and solvents just irritate that area. It's almost like you can see the spread of the oil beneath the skin. Weird, but I don't freak out about it. Oh , and don't do legs the next day if you pin quads. just my .02
