So I've been at this for a while and I've never hit the VG. When I lay on my side and raise one leg I believe that's the muscle I feel flexing. Going to try it tomorrow. Is it better laying or standing?

I do it sitting personally. I stand swing leg away and feel where it is and push with my finger leave it there sit so it’s relaxed then pin

On that last leg picture the glute mark is to low ^^^

just an update i pinned left and right vg a few times each mainly 2cc each time 1cc of test prop and 1cc npp and it worked out pretty well, maybe a little pip for not even a day which is normal only thing was it seems to hurt more than other sites as i stick the pin in ,other than that im glad i have 2 more sites to pin just wanted to thx for all the help
Hit VG 3 times now. Easy and awesome. The higher the better it seems. At first you think you're going to jab your hip bone but it's all good.
