      Back in the game after a long break

      So I’ve been training hard for three years now after 13 years away from the gym. Career/wife/kids took up all of my time but now I am back in the gym 4-5 days a week. My goal for this year was pretty simple, I wanted to be able to bench 315 at the age of 46 and do it naturally. I got 300 up a few weeks back and am hitting 225 for 15 reps but stuff is starting to hurt, shoulder etc. I’m coming to the realization that I’m not a kid anymore. I am 5’8” and 180lbs, fairly lean.
      Prior to my 13 year break, I trained hard through my college years up until I was about 30 when life hit with full force.
      From the age of 25-30 or so I ran a bunch of cycles and responded well going from 150lbs to 215. Looking back though I did it all wrong. No ancillaries and no PCT. probably screwed my test levels up for quite awhile. Back then I relied on a few friends who I trained with for advice, nowhere near the wealth of knowledge to be found here. This go round I want to do it right.
      I am now interested in a lean bulk/fat burn cycle. With three kids running around the house and little privacy to be had I am hesitant to pin. Initially I was going to hit an all oral run of Var/Winny/Dbol but I go back and forth on it. I know I would respond really well to 500mg of test or a test blend with some Var/Winny added in.
      Questions:
      1. If I were to go all oral would I still need to pin HCG for PCT or is there another option? If I have to pin HCG then I may as well run some test.
      2. Baseline labs - never had them done. What’s the process, I’d like to avoid talking to my Dr. about steroids if possible.

      I wouldnt pound an all oral cycle at our age brother. Too hard on the 'ol liver. Just test should do you fine, strength and muscle gains, fat loss, great sleep! Lock the bathroom door for 10 min. Thats all you need to pin.

      Thanks, I’m thinking 500 test/wk plus some Var is the way to go. Now to figure which one/s, the research continues...

      WHy not start at 250 mg week test and see how you respond? All oral cycle is a no no.

      Tell your doc you're tired all the time and just don't have the strength that you used to, ask him to send you in for low test.

      All oral cycles are for wimps brother. No offense. It’s also a terrible cycle. You need test in your cycle always. And what Irish said, it’s very bad for your liver and takes significant up keep (your liver and organs). Do test only. Trust us.
