Thread: Warming up roids

So i was currently heating up each vial under hot water before drawing into needle.
This time i waited till i had drawn it in then i heated up the oil in needle instead.
It was alot quicker and still effective.

Yeah, I used to draw up in a syringe first and run it under warm water. With the thinner oils, I haven't had to do this in quite some time. Should be faster because: 1. You're not heating up as much oil in a syringe vs. vial and 2. the plastic of the syringe is thinner that the glass of the vial (?). The latter is more of a guess on my part, but makes sense.

The easiest way is to put some water in a mug, put it in the micro wave for a few mins. Put your gear in a plastic bag and then something with weight to keep it all submerged. Remove and enjoy

I use a hair dryer to heat the oil in the syringe before I pin it

They also make oil warmers that work perfect for this. Little plate warmer that you can put your vials on before drawing out. Found mine on amazon for like $20

Set in heating pad for 5 minutes. Brings it right up to body temp. Smooth as silk.

I always forget this is a thing. Lol. Ive literally never tried heating my oils. Is it that much better?

Yes it goes in alot easier and disperses better

No need to do it with MCT or Mig. I used to do it every time and I used a heating pad on the vial. I don't like the idea of it running under water. The hair dryer is a good idea too.

I've never even thought of doing this, although I've never injected more than 1.5ml in one location.
Maybe with large volumes of large concentrate it would make a difference?
It sounds plausible: reducing the oil viscosity should make it flow easier from the syringe, and - as mentioned above - possibly disperse either more easily or more evenly or maybe both.
Although the flip side is reduced viscosity equals increased volatility - although I'm not sure that matters at all.
I guess I'm just a lazy fucker who hasn't had to deal with it! But I will definitely keep this in mind and am happy to read these ideas.
