Most definitely. Straight Olympic Barbell Squats are the bread and butter of overall growth. I have not even tried some of these but; a lot of members have issues and some are at an advanced level looking for ways to spur new growth. I came upon this subject after researching for a client the could not perform the normal squats anymore due to past injuries and arthritis. One thing I have employed is the use of squat shoes. It has helped me with stabilization and getting a bit deeper. These are the ones I am using:Max

Those squat shoes look god Max. Do you have a link where you can buy those? Thank you.

Agree with you, rear straight Olympic BBell squats are the King. Occassionally will substitute front BBell squats for them, but not very often. I will be doing them when I am 95 years-old.
