Thread: Quad injection gone wrong.

So this was the first time I've put 2ml of oil (Test E) in at once, and the first time it was real gear. My second I put 2ml into my glute that is absolutely fine 24 hours later. Next week the pins will drop to 2 x 1ml.

My first attempt I was putting in god knows what for 5 weeks and it was bunk so I can't particularly use that to go off.

I have zero PIP at the injection site. The pin went smoothly eg. Injected slowly, aspirated etc. although my knee has swollen up like a balloon. I've attached a picture for reference.

It's now been 4.5 days and it has not subsided. I can barely walk today. Does any have any recommendations?

I don't think I'll ever pin my quad again.

People always have issues with pinning their quads. I have pinned my quads three times a week for the past two years with not one issue.

Was the stuff from a sponsor here?

Bro that Looks pretty swollen... Im not sure what you did there , what you injected and how much, but if anti-inflammatory pills didnt help along with icing the site I agree with the above brothers...go to the ER or an urgent care get it looked at to be safe.

Also if there are questions on pinning all the brothers are here for guidance don't be afraid to ask questions.

This is why i never have and never will pin in quads.

Agreed. Get to the doc man.
I pin quads as often as possible and have never had any issues like this. You need an antibiotic before you lose a limb.

I will never,ever hit my quads again. The 1st and only time I did my knee swelled up as big as my thigh. Ended up seeing the doc. If I understood him I missed the muscle and injected between muscle the muscle fibers. How one misses a muscle that large is beyond me. No matter I hit nowhere but my buttocks now. Been doing this 5yrs now 3 times a week using a 25gauge. Never had a issue of any kind

He's going to end up admitted to the hospital and on anti biotic and 24hr IV With a bracelet saying FALL RISK . I'd say 2 days 3 nights
