I would say that everyone is different and it's easy enough to increase or decrease cardio depending on how your body is reacting, what you're seeng on the mirror and what the scale says.
Obviously with bulking you'd want less cardio. My opinion is that fat loss and fat accumulation are more effectively regulated with diet than cardio.
Wether a cycle is a bulk or a cut is less about compounds and more about diet, guaranteed.
If you find that you're gaining more fat than you want, it's best to change your diet than to try and remedy with cardio alone.
But not knowing your stats it's hard to advise you of anything really.
