Thanks brother you think donating blood is still a good option just to help with my RBCs? I will find out my iron once I get the blood drawn either tomorrow or friday.

bloodpressure is perfect, especially the diastolic (lower one) which is critical in assesing danger for people under 50. over 50 its the systolic one which is key as its the pump active pressure of the heart and due to age artheries calcify and get harder so pump pressure makes it easier to damage thats why systolic is important over 50 in general

your BP is great. dont forget to be still and not mover for 5-10mins before taking measurements, sit upright and arm at heartlevel. moving before will raise top number easily by 10 points

nothing to worry about BP wise, well done

yes as predicted and indicated, iron is very low

which explains the increasded RDW and ofcourse the low MCHC, MCV and MCH.

its probably due to muscles needing building blocks and steroids promoting muscle growth so they deplete the iron, probably nothing wrong with absorbtion.

hit my proposed iron stack and retest in 4 weeks, should be much better by then

then if and when you donate you will atleast have normal iron and not now if you donate you will literally bottom out your iron and increasing it is NOT an easy task by just food

Again I have to disagree ferritin is the most accurate indicator of iron stored in your body. Total iron is the measure of iron that's in your plasma after all of your blood cells have been removed including red blood cells. Your normal ferritin level says that your body as a whole unit has enough iron my assumption would be that your serum iron is low because it has used this iron in the production of these extra red blood cells that you have. You certainly have some wiggle room if you do choose to supplement with iron but I would only do so if you're going to keep close track on your hemoglobin and hematocrit and bloodlet if it gets any higher. I certainly don't see in your case any harm I'll be mild iron supplementation protocol however I also don't think that a doctor would prescribe it in our case.I'm sure that it's very frustrating to hear complete opposing views but I would urge you to do a little bit of research even if it's just a quick Google search. You're probably going to have to dig a little because everything that you're going to see is pretty much going to tell you that iron studies are typically only performed if you are anemic so that you can determine if that is the cause of your anemia
