Sub q lump…concern?
Started sub w instead of IM a few weeks ago. Have a lump in live handles where I injected. Been three days now. It’s a little red and a little tender. Should I be concerned or just keep an eye on it?

Its normal for subq esp if its a new injection site. IDK why guys like subQ, it hurts MORE imo. Injecting love handles? What made you choose such a sensitive area? Just curious.
How many mls of oil did you use and whats the mgs/ml ? (its test I'm assuming).

Yeah I agree in that infant say I’ve noticed it being less painful and in fact oftentimes leaves a radiating pain for hours if not longer.
I was trying sub q lately because supposedly it doesn’t increase hemoglobin/hematocrit as much as IM. My red blood count levels are always towards the rather high end.
I tried the love handles because there’s more fat there. It’s one of my fattiest areas. Didn’t think about it being a problem or being sensitive, honestly, was just trying a new spot with fat that might help me lower red blood. Even after giving blood their still somewhat high.

Are you just pinning test? oil volume? mgs? is it a high mg version?
Just trying to help you figure this out.

I appreciate the help. Was pinning test or EQ (did one in one site and another in a different site and can’t remember which. I think it was the EQ) 150mg (1/2 cc) with insulin pin 29 gage.

So its 300mgs per ml? High concentration oils typically hurt. Its just the way it is. I avoid them. Putting EQ subq isnt advisable either. You should be at LEAST a half inch into the muscle, preferrably more. IM injections are meant to be exactly that, intra-muscular. If you have fat in the area, you may have not even gone through the skin completely, you may have injected oil into a layer of fat tissue BETWEEN layers of skin. If it was 29ga needle, it was probably a half inch in length or less.

yeah you’re pretty much right on I believe. Yes 300mg/ml…higher concentration. And yes it was a 1/2 inch needle. All makes sense with the skin and injecting between. I must’ve been overly optimistic about the thickness of my skin/fat.
It’s starting to clear up I believe. Much less red and less painful or sensitive today. Injected IM with my usual 1 inch needle in the glute!
lesson learned! Thanks again for your insight and advice Irish oak.

Glad to hear its subsiding. It can be scary. The best places to pin are the places you would be most willing to take a punch! Thighs, glutes, shoulders. Best wishes on your AAS journey! Feel free to hmu if you ever have questions on anything brother.
