SEIZED PACK
A friend of a friend recently made an order from overseas. The shipper decided to split it up into 2. Upon tracking the packages, the friend found that both have been "Inbound into customs" for several days with no other movement. This friend is wondering what legal repercussions may come of this. I know that a letter is normally sent announcing seizure but this is not the first time (happened twice before about 7 years ago). Anyone have any insight?

Did your friend's friend get a Customs love letter yet?

I've seen it say inbound for up 10-12 days.

If they turn to deliver it don't accept it . I'd probably clean up the house as well .
Also don't use that addy again . It was crazy to use it after it had been flagged already aways

Appreciate the advice. It was a new address, he has moved since it happened last time. Made several orders using the new address with no issue until now.

Well the name isn't flagged for the most part it's addy . But if they keep coming then the name is looked up.as long as he doesn't accept the pack there's really not they can do legally

Now this one's burned. I'd suggest using domestic sponsors instead of international as Customs seems to be now more vigilant about packs coming from overseas.
