      Your experiences with healing compounds?

I've cut everything out for sometime now (minus test cruise) and am just going into pure healing mode trying to recover things back as training heavy and age = a lot of overuse injuries and things accruing that just won't fade otherwise.

The biggest thing I'd like to heal up is what I presume to be either an impinged shoulder/rotator cuff issue, it gives a sharp pinch like feeling on bench and overhead press, but also gets aggravated on deadlifts and rows.

      So far, I've tried out:

-bpc157/tb500, can't quite tell if that did too much but some strains I occurred did seam to possibly heal faster but that could've been due to placebo

-mk677: almost instantaneous relief in the shoulder where I wake up and there's no pain plus I can press relatively pain-free... however, the caveat/trade-off is the edema seems to find its way directly to my chronic patellar tendonitis and makes it so bad that squatting almost becomes intolerable so it's like trading my shoulder for my knee... then again, maybe it's the insta-bloat factor that alleviates the shoulder so drastically because as soon as I go off and let the edema go away my knee returns to normal and my shoulder goes back to hurting...

-anavar: I have heard people utilize such for healing purposes, was dosing it low but noticed it made my shoulder pain way more pronounced and sharp, almost the exact opposite of what I was hoping for... Trusted source so I wouldn't call it winstrol but I've never had a good run with anything DHT not giving issues...

Up next to bat I'm going to try out cjc no dac and ipamorelin and potentially/eventually just run GH for a while even though I didn't have a good experience years back(this round I'll start off on the low end and assess from there)

I've also got a few new re-strains and really have to learn that I can't just train heavy all the time in the pursuit of max strength, I've really gotta start training in blocks and take time with lessor weight for more reps as obviously the body can only take so much abuse for so long. I am pretty hard headed and stupid in that I know better but something in me just can't resist going for it when I get fired up... so I've really gotta get real with myself and setup a program to halt the brakes and allow me to recover as it'll be near impossible for things to possibly heal if I'm still striving for PR's (which, despite everything, I have managed a few new PR's in the past couple of months which is a first since last winter, but of course when we're in PR land we're also in everything feeling like shit land too).

Have you been trying anything different? I have been on the bpc/tb and it does seem to help, but maybe I'm expecting more. Mostly using for shoulder pain.

I am cruising now and would like to be feeling better before I jump it back up in March.

Have you tried a mk / bpc / gh stack? Looking for something to help with shoulder pain and my trainer suggested this stack.

I destroyed my shoulder about a year and a half ago, still recovering strength wise, tricep was almost completely useless.

I ran a cycle of bpc157/tb500, tb in the stomach and bpc into my delt. I would then work that shoulder for 15-30 mins everyday, light. From what I’ve read the bpc is more effective if you work the damaged area immediately after inject. I also quit drinking alcohol, needed to stop anyway. Anything that caused inflammation I tried to stay away from, this includes ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is great to take once in a while but extended use will have adverse effects on inflammation. It takes time to heal, especially shoulder injuries, like knees. It’s been a year since the pain subsided but I still can’t do dips or lift things in certain ways.. putting deodorant on even hurts a little. I still warm shoulders up before and during every workout.

At the time the bpc/tb combo seemed to help a few of my strains heal up quick whereas usually a strain sticks around for a week or two they seemed to recover within days, so I guess I shouldn't say it was pointless, but for the longer term stuff like the rotator cuff and the patellar tendonitis I didn't notice anything...

I have been running the cjc no dac at 100mcg along with ipamorelin at 200mcg in the morning fasted and noticed some improvement in my shoulder, then further that by switching to GH at 2iu's on other mornings, I swap back and forth, sometimes I take a day or two off because I'm always prone to bloat up. Neither have helped out with the knee, but like mk677 they have helped really decrease the shoulder pain, it's way more tolerable/livable and I can press without sharpness and not be in pain at night. I'm going to keep running them but I also take days off here and there as with too much concurrently I really notice the bloating and cramping.

I feel you on the avoiding the daily usage of ibuprofen and alcohol cessation, I had quit drinking too and quit daily usage of ibuprofen, unfortunately I have started drinking at night again which I know doesn't help, not as much as before but still would be better to not do so at all...

I think you're onto something about the working the area post injection with the bpc/tb, because I've read that they basically travel the body and congregate where most needed, so might as well take advantage of their brief presence and basically help them hone in.

Next thing I'm going to try out which I haven't experimented with before is some igf-1 lr3 as I've read some pretty interesting stories of healing with such. Found this one particular article to be the one that really made me think to myself "what the hell, might as well give it a go and see what happens". Systemic administration of IGF-I enhances healing in collagenous extracellular matrices: evaluation of loaded and unloaded ligaments - PMC

Further update: Still been doing good with the combo of cjc/ipamorelin on some days and 2iu's of GH on others (which has really helped out with my shoulder I'm noticing more and more as time goes on).... I tried a really small miniscule 25mcg dosage yesterday evening of the igf-1 lr3 and today I strained my pec on bench and my overhead press was a little off from the norm too... I think lr3 may be too long of a half life because it's my theory that while it's present in the system for so long it's preventing other things from happening.... the last time I had a major pec strain was when I was trying out yk11 which supposedly inhibits myostatin and I know igf1 and myostatin are at an inverse... I tend to react to things rather rapidly so if I'm going to hit a bad negative it usually smacks me in the face within the first few days. I'll just prob stick to what igf1 my body naturally releases due to GH since that more rapidly gets utilized, I guess the same could be said of the igf-1 des which has a much much shorter half life as opposed to the lr3. At least it wasn't anything major but it was quite the drastic deviation from the norm of how things usually go, and I know better than to just strike things up to coincidence, there's usually a direct link between cause/effect for me.

chadmack...I am just starting with BPC...how long did it take for you to notice any difference? Did you pin at your shoulder pain site or another area?

Good question... I'm about to order more, I've tried both localized and just regular sub-q systemically, couldn't tell much of a difference between the two... but being that bpc has a much shorter half life than tb I could see why it might make sense to run/inject it local as why not have it concentrated at the actual site... though of course eventually once the blood stream picks it up it does go systemic, I'd think that doing local still will give a touch more benefit but to what degree might be arguable... I've read anecdotal reports supporting both sides so really you just have to experiment for yourself... I tried it both ways and couldn't really give a definitive conclusion. I mean I believe it works regardless of where injected, just can't say if localized is that much better, but there's lots of reports that support both sides. Also... who's to say that those who reported good notes from doing sub-q may not have even benefited further from doing localized? So it's hard to say! My vote would go towards localized being a touch better, because you have a large pool that is right there, the rest of the body might get it dispersed but the large volume amount will be right where you put it and nowhere else will get that volume.

just a few days I could tell a little difference.
yes bpc 157 I like pinning as close to pain as possible
