heres a study, but it fails to take into account multiple factors, like recovery and the effects of multiple short cycles over a period of time.
short cycles with long esters are a terrible idea. it barely has time to take effect, then hangs around in the system for a while, your actual time of making decent use of the compound will be tiny.. and if you only gain 5 solid pounds in a cycle, it will be easy to lose that.
a short ester like prop could be quite effective for 6 weeks at a time, you can pct faster and do several in a year.
all in all, as everyone is probably going to jump on and say is that under 10 week cycles are less effective and waste more of your hard earned gear per pound of result.

that and fluctuating your hormone levels dramatically and repetitively over short periods of time, running pct several times per year, its all adding to the stress on your body and endocrine system

I tried this before 3 weeks on 4 weeks off. Good for maintaining gains but no so much for huge gains.
Always used short esters and orals.. Prop, tren, npp dbol.
Much faster recovery but less gains

i am currently doing this. trying to avoid certain sides, and testing to see how the response is. i just finished my 1st go around, and will be picking back up in july for a second go around, and then again in the fall. i am not including pct in the time off, which is the reason some may think im starting again too soon in july. 6 weeks is the time frame i am aiming for both on and off.

fuck that. I also know people in Europe who 32 week blast. the concept of the "micro cycle" is not for bodybuilding. Its actually used my athletes for PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT ......you see their is a gap between performance enhancement and hypertrophy (bodybuilding). If you were a sprinter perhaps short cycles would suffice for performance enhancement, where the slightest increase means a lot.....for hypertrophy training, 5-6 weeks would be a tease. I have read the actual cycles done by some Olympians...yes USA Olympians (from a VERY confidential source and friend, also a doctor) and the cycles were very MILD and very SHORT! Why? because it was for a extra second off time, or enough for just alittle strength gain, to give the edge.....it wasn't for extreme muscle mass.

In a nut shell, what you refer to as micro cycling is actually common among athletes. For bodybuilding....well....we want efficiency and growth and more often than not, 5 weeks isn't going to be efficient for our goals.

another reason for the short cycles is the obvious.....drug testing

I would REALLY like to release some information that my doctor friend has given me...I would have to reword a few things and change names......my doctor friend is also a world record holder himself, and is older...and not doing well....but he was a champion none the less and mingled with all the other champions .

Another note about "what they are doing in Europe"....its kinda like a novelty thing...because the European guys I know are always like "wha are they doing in America?" lol
