OOH Lemme tell ya... DNP is interesting. I took DNP for weeks at a time only. I think it's hit or miss for some folks. When I took it, I started the first 2 days by making each cap at 100mg. The active life I believe is 36 hours. After 2 days I would take 200mg in the morning, and 100mg at night. I literally drank 1.5 gallons of water a day, whether it was paranoia or just being smart about it. I woke up 3 to 4 times a night to urinate, and I had towels by the side of my bed because I would soak my sheets with sweat. You want a fan blowing on your full blast!
At one point I took T3, Clen and DNP because I figured 'hey why not'.... and experienced heart palpitations and nearly passed out. Never did that again.
My advise don't be in a rush for results. If you take DNP, I personally think 300/400mg a day is enough with clean eating. Anything over that you're just putting yourself in the risk zone. Also, know the environments you'll be in throughout the week. If you're outside in heat, bring the dose down the morning BEFORE (36 hour active life remember).
You do not want to overheat on this stuff.
Last 2 tidbits here:
When you eat carbs, your body will heat up from the ATP exchange in your body. You'll start to sweat more within about 10 minutes. I experienced this with both carbs and coffee (with non-dairy creamer.)
Finally, get a powerful anti-oxident AND eye support. NAC and I believe Leutein should help, but it is NOT guaranteed.
I have some vision issues in my left eye which I have to get corrected with lasers, I believe this may be from DNP and blood pressure from other supps.
Be very careful, VERY patient. Clean eating > DNP any day. Consider T3 and clen instead perhaps.
PS. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL WITH DNP!!!
Or just say NO to DNP.
