It's telling me I've reached my storage quota even though I've cleared it all out.

Did you clear out your sent pm's as well?

vb has a lot of items that count on the internal software counters being updated usually via a cron job from what I remember.
often you just gotta wait a bit.
or admin repair your mysql tables ;)
