Hey brothers,
I was curious what your preferred method of transferring funds was. I can't say I was overly pleased with WU and was hoping to find something more convenient. Do any of you have experience with Vanilla Reload or Greendot? Thanks guys.

WU is a pain in the ass. Vanilla and Greendot is the way to go. So simple.

I'm not familiar with the prepaid card process, how are the funds transferred from it after you put them on the card?

You buy a green dot RELOAD pack, then all you have to do is give them the number of your reload pack - they then load it to their greendot card.

Its safe for you the buyer.. The risk is on the seller, there are ways to be anonymous for anything though.

Yea the easiest and cheapest way and also instant are Vanilla Reload, Greendot Moneypak, and Netspend Reload. They all work the same. Just make sure it is the RELOAD and NOT the credit card. An easy way to tell is that the reload has a number you have to scratch off the back.

Then buy the RELOAD PAK for whichever your seller accepts, load the funds at the register, scratch the numbers off the back, and send the numbers to them and that's it.

Why did I not know about this. So you mean to tell me I don't have to deal with some jamoke named Alan in Mumbai to transfer money?

Correct, if your source accepts it - do it. Pay for it at the register in CASH. No paper trail to you..

Is there any ID requirement at a certain amount of cash?

Not that I have experienced. But there is a max load on the RELOAD pack, I think its 500$ each? I can't remember.

Over Vanilla? They seem like the same process. Is greendot cheaper?
