View Full Version : Kidney issues while on Tren....

I've had issues with my kidneys for a number of years, so I've avoided orals for the most part. The functions can often show up "borderline" regarding the doctor's desired ranges. I get the functions tested app. every four months, and four months ago they showed a marked improvement, better than in a long time. This was following a 16 week cycle of mainly Sustenon and a mastoprop cutter, and also a run of GH. So just last week I went through the same routine of tests and they showed a big downturn with some, like the creatnine level, and GFR. I had just finished an app. 5 week cycle of a very potent Tri-Tren and Test E., which spiked my strength up big time. Unfortunately my blood pressure also spiked up, so now I'm really wondering if that run of Tri-Tren had something to do with the worse kidney results? I'm very aware that high blood pressure has a direct effect on the kidneys, and now wondering if that Tri-Tren was the culprit. For the past 5 weeks my BP has been averaging in the 180s over 80's, when through the summer it was consistently almost 120 over 68 or so........

Hypertension is hell on your kidneys. Keep you bp in check and stay away from tren. Tren takes its toll on your kidneys. I'm a firefighter and I also work part time on an ambulance. I am in dialysis centers all the time, 9 out of 10 dialysis patients have hypertension. People don't realize how bad high bp is. Keep bp in check, stay hydrated and steer clear of Orals and tren. I promise dude the last thing you want is fucked up kidneys and end up on dialysis. Sitting in a chair for 4 hours three time a week getting your blood cleaned by a machine is a horrible life. I can't buy into the whole tren taxes kidneys thing... but as far as blood pressure.

Look into Ubiquinol.. That stuff is golden for your heart health and blood pressure. It will make a large difference..

Studies with CoQ10 (8 times WEAKER than ubiquinol) have been shown to lower blood pressure at 20/10 and MORE. So its extremely logical that ubiquinol would do even better.. take 200-400mg a day and enjoy..

Thanks Khem, never heard of that and will definitely be looking into it. I'm off the Tren right now and will be resuming to something else, so by the time my next go-around for my tests, it will be interesting. As my nephrologist was overjoyed with the results four months ago, I have to go back and re-trace exactly what I was doing right. I might add I am on two BP meds, Atenolol and Lisinopril, which have been effective. If (hopefully) my results are improved at the next testing four months from now, and I'm not on the Tren, I should be able to make some kind of conclusion.

I would hop on Ubiquinol and monitor that blood pressure.. Get to donating blood At least every 8 weeks.. If you can find two different companies to do it, you can do it every 4 weeks. Its likely with this combo you would not need your BP meds after some time.

I wouldn't donate to often unless your hematocrit is elevated. I'm gonna have to look into the ubiquinol, thanks for sharing.

Our h&h should be pretty elevated as athletes in general, throw in hormones and we should all be large enough, and elevated enough.. Add in Age and it seems to elevate even more for some reason. JMO. But if it isn't on the higher end, don't.

I do have to mention my Nephrologist is aware that I powerlift and did mention to me that the Creatnine level seems to go up with the heavy lifting; I wasn't lifting heavy for competition thru the summer and it was way down, I lifted heavy for competition (and made gains with that tren) for the last 5-6 weeks, and the Creatnine level shot up from 1.3 to 1.5. (the normal range at my particular clinic is from 0.2 -- 1.3) but I realize the ranges can vary with doctors/clinics.

Its not the gear that directly affects the kidneys. However it plays a part in kidney function. If gear raises your blood pressure significantly it will kill your kidney function especially creatine levels. Also most gear will increase red blood cell production, which in turns raises hematocrit levels, hemoglobin etc. Therefore making your kidneys work harder to filter with more RBC and thicker blood. Also the higher your iron levels are without treatment will lay in your organs such as kidneys. This is why blood work on cycle is so important. This is where therapeutic phlebotomy comes in to play. Not only will this reduce your blood pressure but will make your blood less thick (hematcrit.) Therefore this keeps your sides in check. But you have some assholes that will say the more RBC the better which is complete bullshit. A slight elevation in RBC is healthy because it can carry more oxygen rich blood to your muscles. But too much is a silent killer.

It should also he noted that Strenous weight lifting can damage the muscles. In fact, this is basically how the muscles get bigger. They get damaged a little and heal back stronger. When muscle tissue is damaged a protein called myoglobin is released. Myoglobin breakdown products can crystalize in the kidneys and damage them. So having a creatinine clearance of 1.5 is not worrisome. If you get your bp in check with a phlebotomy , real garlic not powder, red pepper, Hawthorne berry your kidney function will drop back to normal range. If you can't get it under control I would recommend a drug called bencair, very effective to treat high bp.

One more quick tip for healthy kidney function is to not chug water, us as athletes and aas users know the importance of hydration and have to drink more water than we probably want. If you just pound water it will cause your kidneys to work faster and harder almost forcefully. I guess an example could be trying to put a 12 inch dick inside a 110 pound slut without easing it in first she probably won't feel too good lol. So try and maintain a steady intake of fluids throughout the entire day instead of forcing a gallon in before noon. Your kidneys will thank you.

All of this kidney stuff came into the picture about 7 years ago when they discovered on an ultra sound that I had kidney cysts (as well as liver cysts). I've learned that in very rare cases they can be cancerous, many of us have these and don't even know it. There is rarely any treatment/removal of them, but for a few years they monitored them with catscans and a few MRIs. My doctor (nephrologist) did rule out any connection with the weightlifting, or the use of AAS in my case, but did mention they are mainly hereditary.

i use garlic tabs and cranberry tabs all year but espicially on tren .. works well for me

Interesting footnote to this thread I started a year ago regarding tren and kidney function. I recently completed a 5 week run of a tri-tren mix, which did the trick for my strength preparing for a lifting meet. However, sure enough after having my kidney functions checked this week they were all outta whack just like the last time I did the same tren-blend last year. I might add in between I've been on the test, etc. and the kidney numbers were quite normal range. So in light of this I'm starting to think, at least in my case, the tri-tren did in fact have something to do with these kidney issues.

stay hydrated and look into coq10, cranberry, garlic and NAC possibly.
