I'm going through the same thing right now with my left shoulder. I switched my routine to do more powerlifting through the month of December and put too much of a strain on my left shoulder. I've been sick and out of the gym for a couple of weeks or so which allowed my shoulder to rest. Shoulder still hurts. This has happed to me several times over the years. Seems like I always set myself back going heavy on barbell bench press. I also do rotator cuff exercises and stretch. I guess I just need to stay off the bench press.

Hey bro, I posted a thread "Structural Balance Training for Bad Shoulders" in the Bodybuilding Section. Check it out. Nice article I ran across in Flex Magazine.

Shoulder injuries suck, I try to warm my shoulders up before training by goin in the dry sauna for 10min to loosen up the body..then do a few stretching exercises before hitting the weights..
