ok guys been thinking hard about igf1 and adding it to a cycle or two. the only thing that is stopping me is the risk of cancer same thing with the gh. my question is what kinda risk will i be looking at if i only use for short period of time not extended amount of time just a few cycles here and there. cancer scares the shit out of me.

No one can answer that question. Studies on GH and IGF are long, heavy-going, and multi-focused. That is to say there is a big pile of shit to sift through just to find out that no study can prove causality regarding cancer. With that said, many people use GH long term with great success; though I am not advocating its use.

Btw... don't let cancer scare you. Accept it as part of the natural course of things. I have. Woody Allen had a joke that went something like, "I went to the doctor and got a physical. He says I passed with flying colors. Turns out flying colors causes cancer."

From brief research I was under the impression it would speed cancer growth , not cause them?????

Only thing I've ever found is that if you already have a tumor/mass is will accelerate the growth but it won't cause it to appear. Cancer is caused by heredity, environmental factors, or exposure to carcinogens(smoking for example).

There's no definitive answer for this one. Some people smoke 40-50 years and never develop any signs of cancer. If you are afraid to do it, then don't.

You're correct, though IFG one levels do play a role in cancer development, their's no evidence IGF "causes" cancer.

We all have cancer cells. Our immune system is just really efficient at eliminating them before they proliferate and become tumors.

I stand corrected. Cancer[edit (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Insulin-like_growth_factor_1&action=edit&section=10)]The IGF signaling pathway has a pathogenic role in cancer. Studies have shown that increased levels of IGF lead to increased growth of existing cancer cells.[23] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insulin-like_growth_factor_1#cite_note-pmid22520978-23) People with Laron syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laron_syndrome) have also recently been shown to be of much less risk to develop cancer.
