Every damn time it starts going good!!!! A bad pain at the bottom of where the delt runs into to bicep and center of the arm. Whole lot of catching and popping. On a good note, I can lift it unlike when I hurt my right one near the same place in November 2012. Then I couldn't lift my arm for two weeks!!!

I know what you going through brother. I'm dealing with the same thing with my left shoulder. I hurt it going heavy on bench press in December. Since then, I've stayed away from the bench and overhead presses, only doing what shoulder will allow. Pre workout stretching and exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff is helping me heal. I don't plan on putting too much stress on my shoulder joint for several months.

Was it sudden pain or day after ? What body part did you work previous day ?
As stupid as it sounds my pain comes when front delt is too tight from being over developed compared to rear delt .
When stretches don't help I go to peck deck and sit facing , do a couple rear delt exercises to pull joint into alignment .
Not that this is your problem but acknowledging shoulder is where various muscle/Tendons join . If pain is where bicep tendon joins shoulder near pectoral muscle then maybe your pinching a nerve even . If you don't have any DMSO or vet sports rub to loosen or relax area then just heat and Motrin .
I'm not diagnosing or suggesting but trying to throw idea at you to figure out what muscle/tendon is causing the imbalance .
Dam it's had to articulate what I'm trying to explain .

Wish you luck getting better friend

Same problem here, except with both shoulders. Seen a doc and they said my frontal delts are in fact over developed, just like Don't wanna be old said earlier. I've been doing acupuncture and stretching the shit of them and have not touched a weight for 7 weeks. I thought it would be best to give my body a little break because I am so fucking old!!!! Damn it sucks getting old! Anyway, I plan on hitting the gym on Friday, which will make a full 2 month break. Been on a little TRT cruise with Test C, but I'm chomping at the bit and have been pretty moody/anxious lately (sorry fam). I will definitely be hitting my rear delts a lot harder from now on. But man, shoulder pain is the worst, because you can't really do much. BTW, the acupuncture along with stretching on a foam roller has seemed to help. Plan on jumping in with some Test E and Deca, along with a kicker of small dose of DBol along with small dose of anadrol. MMMM, can't wait! LOL

Wow, thanx everyone. In fact my front delts massively overpower my rear in strength and size. Going to lay off a few more weeks and hopefully it gets better!!!
