possible secure vps IRCD hosting for src customer support

I had been kicking an idea around with PEP about hosting a secured vps and running an IRCD (Internet Relay Chat) I beleive through use of TOR, Proxies and connecting to Secured BNC (bouncer services for connecting to irc via another server hiding your identity) I think it would def. help the cause for anonymity and security and at the same time allow for quicker customer support.. one secure server that only members with enough posts would be allowed access to. I think it sure beats tap a talk or using any function from linux based android devices.. I know i have been on this board for like 5 days but would love your thoughts and feedback on the subject. 8]

This would be used as a live support feature for sources to answer questions like a ticket service. If so, its not a bad idea. Are you wanting this yourself for sources to use?

This idea appealed to me for multiple reason, the most important being security reasons not saying that anything can't be potentially compromised; a great deal if these web based forum users use apps like tap a talk via android tablets and phones, even developmental programs like xprivacy (a great tool for restricting priveledges applications shouldnt have) are seeing app still leech sensitive info. a board i came from was decent for a while and then the trolls swarmed in.. using an irc based channel its much more easier to mod. eg, customizable programmed bots that can take over basic functions like banning users for black listed words, flooding , takeover attempts, and best of all its live with very little delay. I have some very security orientated friends online that collect vps just for the hell of it. if its something other sponsors would be interested in they would be more then welcome to join and make a channel of their own. IRC has been around for years...and is serious biz 8) also im sure members wouldnt mind chatting on it too. Hopefully I havent gone too far beyond your question.

If your curious learn a bit more about irc and log in to an efnet server and check out #steroids and #anabolics a friend and I currently hold those channels but word of the wise dont connect to ANY irc server using your own connection get a bouncer or vpn or proxy.

It really is a cool idea. You would have to make sure there was someone on standby for this to go well.
